I guess I was wrong because 5 hours after we got to the hospital Shiquita water broke and Anna Evelyn Carr was born 11-10-06 at 5:27 a.m. My wife had difficulty holding this child during pregnancy but when it was time to deliver she was a trooper. Natural birth with no pain meds. I didn't even get curses out or hear any inflamitory remarks unlike some of the stories I've heard.
Yes that is me cutting the cord, something I said I wouldn't do but peer pressure was on from a room full of doctors and nurses.
